Inland Christian Home has long enjoyed the support of 3 Way Thrift Stores, a local not-for-profit organization that provides us with financial contributions throughout the year. The company was originally founded in 1994 with the purpose of supporting ICH, Salem Christian Homes and Ontario Christian School.
Since its inception, 3 Way Thrift has worked to raise funds for the three organizations they support. While the amounts they donate have varied over the years, they are always split equally and provide a substantial contribution to our operations. Over the years, their total donations to the three companies combined have equaled over $7 million. Here at ICH, we have used those donations for various special projects around campus that enhance the campus and quality of care we provide.
In addition to these financial contributions, 3 Way Thrift provides several services to the local community, from creating jobs to providing customers with quality goods at an affordable price. They also give volunteers a chance to donate their time and skills to a worthy cause and give used items new life by keeping them out of landfills.
This year marks the 30th anniversary of 3 Way Thrift, and we at ICH want to congratulate them on this milestone achievement. We also express our sincere thanks to the company for its unfailing dedication and support throughout the years.
Donations from the community allow 3 Way Thrift to continue their ministry and support organizations like ICH. They are always in need of gently used or new items, particularly clothing. While they have two retail locations (10152 Central Ave. in Montclair, and 13390 Central Ave. in Chino), there is one donation center located at 5242 F St. in Chino that accepts donations for both stores.
