Ladies Auxiliary Brings Extended Community Together
The community at Inland Christian Home is unmatched through our events and fundraisers that include friends and families of residents. The recent Oliebollen & Bake Sale hosted by the Ladies Auxiliary of Inland was no exception as this fundraiser raises funds for special projects across the ICH campus which help residents.
Oliebollen are traditional Dutch pastries similar to doughnuts, typically enjoyed during New Year’s Eve celebrations. These deep-fried treats are often filled with raisins and dusted with powdered sugar. Some variations may include apple filling instead of raisins. These variations often spark a friendly debate in Dutch circles, so tread carefully!

The Ladies Auxiliary of Inland Christian Home hosts this annual event and made over 700 oliebollen. Each attendee can order as many as they please to eat in the Friendship Center or take to go. The staff also brings these treats around campus to residents, patients, nurses and staff for everyone to enjoy.
Special thanks to each volunteer who donated their time to bake goodies for the bake sale and help in other capacities. The Ladies Auxiliary is a group of women comprised of residents and members of the local community who generously support Inland Christian Home each year.
