“Please pass on to the ICH leadership my appreciation for the care and consideration during the transition of my father from Independent Living to Assisted Living. It was almost a 5-month journey from the decision to downsize from a 2 bedroom to a 1 bedroom independent living unit that was interrupted by a hospitalization necessitating a stay in skilled nursing for well over a month.
I can not emphasize enough my appreciation of the ICH team for working with us to ensure there was a room in assisted living available despite the many, many slips on release dates. We also appreciated the flexibility in having time to downsize my parent’s personal affects, the ability to leave donations for the 3-Way Thrift Store inside the unit, and working with us on parking needs.
As always, our superhero at ICH is Denise Perez. She and her team are always above and beyond in their care and communication with our family. Her personal attention for both my dad and mom can never be repaid by us. The whole team always makes us feel that our parents are getting the best possible care that is well above the skills and capability our family could provide on our own.
We continue to feel that Inland Christian Home’s dedication to being a faith-based ministry is a true light in a world that is often dark, cold, and unfair to those who need help the most.
